​​Bob Lysaught
Founder
​
Bob Lysaught is the Founder of Brooksight Investigations and the driving force behind its establishment and national growth. He founded the business after a distinguished 28-year career with the New South Wales Police, bringing extensive investigative expertise and leadership into the private investigation sector in 1997.
​
Bob pioneered the development of Brooksight Investigations and shaped its investigative standards, operational framework, and professional culture from inception. As the founding National Investigations Manager, he was instrumental in building the company’s client relationships and investigator network nationwide, setting the foundations for the organisation’s reputation for quality, integrity, and thoroughness.
Ryan Lysaught
Chief Executive Officer
Ryan Lysaught is the Chief Executive Officer of Brooksight Investigations and has progressed through the business over an extended period, holding a wide range of operational, investigative and leadership roles. This experience has given him a strong, practical understanding of the organisation and the investigative services it delivers.

As Chief Executive Officer, Ryan is responsible for the strategic direction and governance of Brooksight Investigations, with a focus on maintaining high investigative standards, strong client relationships and sustainable business growth.
​​Nerida Batzloff
Chief Operating Officer

Nerida has worked in Insurance Investigations for the past twenty years across multiple Australian, Global and self-insurers with experience in General Insurance, CTP, Life, Public Liability and Workers Compensation.
Most recently, Nerida was the General Insurance Investigations Manager for Allianz Australia. While Nerida was responsible for the high performance of the General Insurance Investigation Team, she also implemented the GICoP requirements across the Allianz General Insurance investigative space. Nerida was the subject matter expert for several Allianz Global initiatives involving claim investigation and ongoing continuous improvement programs.
Nerida previously was the Investigation and Litigation Manager for CommInsure.
Louise Johnson
Operations Manager

Louise Johnson brings over 20 years experience from the insurance industry. Her knowledge extends across General Insurance, Liability and CTP Investigations.
Her most recent role as General Insurance Investigations Manager at Allianz Australia included the introduction of GICOP requirements, quality reviews and expanding a proactive team to target
syndicates and organized crime in the General Insurance space.
Geoff Lysaught
Investigations Manager
Mr Geoffrey Lysaught is employed by Brooksight Investigations as Factual Investigations Manager. Geoff was a member of the New South Wales Police for a period of 25 years. Most of that service was spent as a Detective where he was involved in the investigation of all types of criminal matters. After retiring from the Police in 2004 he obtained a Private Inquiry Licence and commenced to undertake investigations.
In 2010 Geoff joined Brooksight as a full time Investigations Manager.
Alicia Nichols
Investigations Manager​

Alicia Nichols brings over 20 years insurance experience to Brooksight, having built a respected career at Allianz Insurance. Her extensive background includes 20 years in the National Investigations Unit, where she developed a deep understanding of insurance fraud prevention, claims management, and complex investigations. Her most recent role at Allianz included managing Club Marine investigations, expanding her knowledge to investigating fraud within the Watercraft space. Alicia joined Brooksight in 2023 and is passionate about building transparent relationships with both clients and investigators and ensuring KPIS are met and exceeded at all available opportunities.
Daniel Cartwright
Investigations Manager
With over 11 years of experience in the insurance industry including investigations and analytics, Dan specialized in identifying and analysing fraudulent activities, with a strong focus on staged motor vehicle accidents and organized syndicates. Dan’s experience also includes conducting in-depth investigations, utilizing advanced analytics to uncover fraud patterns, networks and collaborating closely with law enforcement. Daniel developed his ability to detect complex fraudulent schemes, delivering results that protected both the company and its clients. Dan joined Brooksight in 2023 as one of our General Insurance Technical Officers.
Chris Houghton
Surveillance & Online Investigations Manager
Mr Chris Houghton is our Surveillance & Online Investigations Manager. Chris is a highly experienced professional in the insurance investigation industry with over 25 years of Surveillance Management experience.
Throughout his career, he has excelled in managing surveillance investigations, ensuring they are completed within the required KPIs. He is highly adept at building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. Chris brings a wealth of expertise to his role with Brooksight
Kara O'Farrell
Investigations Manager
Kara brings a wealth of knowledge in the General Insurance investigation space with her meticulous attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage high-stakes investigations with professionalism. With over 10 years in the industry including Auto & General, Kara specialises in managing all aspects of insurance fraud investigations, ensuring that claims are thoroughly vetted and in compliance with industry regulations. Kara’s previous experience as a General Insurance Investigator includes working with vulnerabilities, complex claim types, organised crime syndicates and policy misrepresentation. Kara joined Brooksight in 2024 and is an Investigations Manager in General Insurance.
Jock Cifuentes
Investigations Manager

Jock Cifuentes brings over 38 years of experience in personal injury matters, beginning his career in 1987 as a Claims Officer with the Workers' Compensation Board of Queensland. In 1995, he transitioned to an on-road investigator role, which he held until 2001. That year, he began working as an independent contractor, conducting personal injury investigations across Queensland. From 2004, Jock took on senior management roles within the investigations industry, overseeing Workers’ Compensation and CTP factual investigations. He progressed through various leadership positions, including state and national management roles, before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2022, responsible for all operational aspects of the business.
In 2024, he transitioned into a national enterprise management position, supporting investigative operations across Queensland and Western Australia.
In October 2025, Jock joined Brooksight Investigations as an Investigations Manager.
